Collected while on my first trip out of the country and first time in Amsterdam.

I collected this sample with one of my bestfriends, Tyler, on my first trip out of the USA. We had a rough start to the morning, and after a cuppacino at the corner cafe, decided to talk a walk down to the park to do some slow sightseeing and photography. I had my polaroid SX-70 in hand; Tyler had film film camera.
While on the walk through Vondelpark, we serendipitously met someone along the riverside who would become a good friend to us from Perth, Australia. We ended spending the entire day together, building a polaroid photograph art piece, exchanging life stories, comparing experiences, sharing music and exploring Amsterdam’s offerings. Once we left the riverside, this hydrangea was the first plant I bumped into and collected.
Shown here is the exact flower piece of the hydrangea plant that I pressed and, later, framed.
