These baskets were made in 2021 a few months into moving into my home (which I bought that June/July). They were a dip into new art forms and creativity as I was exploring having my very first house, and creating a home out of it. I learned about this style and the meditative practice of making them, imbuing memories, emotions and thoughts into each weave.
